This was my second time using Landing Pad / Car Hauler 247, and I’m very happy with their service. They helped transport my purchased car from an auction in Montclair, CA to Mountain View, CA. I received an immediate/instant quote at a good price, and their communication over email and phone was excellent. They answered all my questions and accommodated special pickup requests. I definitely recommend their service!

After shopping around, speaking with multiple brokers and combing Reddit for weeks, Landing Pad/Car Hauler 247 is who I felt the most confident with to work with shipping two personal use vehicles from VA to TX. I’d never had to navigate shipping cars before. The Landing Pad website was super informative. They were available for questions throughout the process and provided valuable expertise (by phone call and text). They also had the absolute best pricing and got me the best value. If I ever need to ship vehicles again, I’d go with Landing Pad instantly. Thank you for making a challenging process seamless!!

I shipped my car from TX to CA and their service was beyond and above. Top notch. Since I booked the shipment, the communication was always in touch. The truck driver and the company they worked with, delivered my car door to door. I once had another car shipping service, I had to go to another place to pick up or drop off my car. Vladimir is supportive customer service. During my shipment, I had some minor issues on my own, he patiently helped me navigate it and make sure everything smooth. Cant recommend them enough!

About San Jose

  • Unicorn Traffic Problems: The tech boom brought unicorn startups-and enough traffic to make your morning commute feel like you're starring in your own personal slow-motion disaster movie.
  • High-Tech Traffic Lights: San Jose experimented with "smart" traffic lights that are supposed to reduce traffic jams. Let's just say the lights are smart, but the drivers? That's debatable!
  • Tech Capital, Not Great Wi-Fi: Despite being the heart of Silicon Valley, San Jose's public Wi-Fi isn't exactly what you'd expect from the tech capital of the world.
  • First High-Rise Debate: Residents have argued over building tall skyscrapers for years, fearing they might block the view of planes landing at the airport - or the mountains in the distance. Priorities!
  • It's Always "Chill": San Jose has an average of 300 sunny days a year, but locals still complain when it drops below 60℉-it's their version of "freezing."
  • World's Largest Monopoly Board: San Jose has a massive, playable Monopoly board in Guadalupe River Park. You can actually rent oversized dice and hats to play the game. No pressure if you land on Boardwalk!
  • It's the Biggest Small City: San Jose is the 10th-largest city in the U.S., but somehow still feels like a collection of neighborhoods with small-town vibes.
  • Garlic Rules Nearby: Just down the road in Gilroy, the "Garlic Capital of the World", San Jose residents can smell the Garlic Festival from miles away. It's their version of aromatherapy!

San Jose is a quirky, sunny, tech-filled city that embraces its unique charm and eccentricities. If you're in town, there's always something to laugh about!

EASY CAR SHIPPING

Insurance at a glance

Auto transport carriers are typically have cargo insurance $250,000+ per incident. If multiple vehicles are damaged in a single incident, this coverage is shared among all affected vehicles (a full truck can carry up to 9 cars).

COI (Certificate of Insurance) will be available on web site when truck is assigned - look for cargo coverage on the policy. Coverage order:
1. Carrier's cargo insurance - Primary coverage during transport
2. Your auto insurance - Secondary coverage if you have Comprehensive or Collision

Does my insurance cover my car during transport?
Check your auto policy for Comprehensive and Collision coverage. Many policies DO cover vehicles during professional transport, but some exclude it. If your policy covers it and you file a claim, your insurance company can pursue the carrier's insurance through subrogation (they pay you first, then recover costs from the carrier).

Important: Contact your insurance agent to verify whether your policy covers vehicles during commercial transport before shipping.

Can Carrier Haul Without Insurance?

Brokers verify carrier's cargo insurance, insurance also required for many of compliance steps for trucks,
and it's monitored by RMIS which notifies brokers about changes - you can be pretty sure that all carriers taking cars have an active insurance with cargo coverage.
Insurance does not cancel instantly, it is either expires at the end of term or pending cancellation for 30 days before it becomes inactive. We have carrier's certificates of insurance and can email you a copy - just ask.
